Irv Becker's Bibliography
An actor who is finding success on his very own, Irv Becker almost went directly from acting school to being a crooked cop when Rei Peri cast him in the lead role as Eddie Damico in the feature film "Fraternal Order". Since then, Becker's career has soared ever higher, embraced by audiences as a new kind of actor of his generation with roles in "Everything's Wonderful" and comedies "Poor George" and "The Making of Dragula". His performance in the psychological thriller "Johnny Come Lately" in which he played the fearless but soft spoken Detective Jack Kelton put this fine actor on the list of new actors to watch for. There are signs that the handsome actor now seeks more traditional romantic lead material - starting with his role in "The Big Game". He is usually cast in roles that involve a cool, controlled, "in-the-know" character. His roles almost always involve a memorable line delivery; Becker's trademark voice inflection lend heavily to this attribute which made him perfect for three upcoming features "The Tango Dancer", "Will to Power" and "The Last Mango". In 2000, Becker received a CINDY award for his role in the national "Don't Touch the Wires" series campaign. Breakout Movie: "Johnny Come Lately" Biggest Hit: "Becker has no shortage of hits.
